4th Anti - Aircraft Division - Insignia.
A good matched pair of 4th Anti Aircraft Division insignia in good clean used condition with service wear and signs of being removed from uniform. Up to November 1940 the Division was responsible for A.A defence of Birmingham and later for Manchester and Liverpool.
1941 Patroitic Diary / Calendar.
Small (8 x 6 cm) patriotic diary / calendar for 1941 sold in aid of the \"Horwich Parish Church Comforts Fund\". The diary includes to centre a small number of reprints of speeches by The King. Churchill, Morrison etc. The diary is in good clean unused condition, the cover is a little grubby.
Group Of Three German WWI / WWII Court Mounted Med
A group of three German court mounted medals comprising WWI Iron Cross 2nd Class, 1914/18 Cross Of Honour for combatants and NSDAP Long Service Medal in Bronze. The medals are all in uncleaned condition the NSDAP award has some loss of it bronze finish (see photo) all have been quality mounted and make a excellent display item.
Anti - Gas Ointment Jars and Wooden Crate.
Two wartime Anti-Gas Ointment jars with their original scarce wooden carrying crate. The two 7lb glazed stoneware jars are in good condition one has its rubber sealing ring missing from its lid, easily replaceable if required and both are 1943 dated. The rare wooden carrying crate is in good sound condition and is a little grubby, clearly stencilled in black - Oint. A.G - 2 x 7 lb Jars.
USAAF Field Jacket ETO Specification.
Scarce USAAF enlisted mans field jacket ETO spec. These British made jackets were manufactured for U.S forces in the European Theatre of Operation and were mainly worn by the USAAF. The jacket is in very good condition with no moth damage, has clear makers label - Jacket, Field, Lined, (Enlisted Man) E.T.O specification No. U/1180A, Size 36R, Breast 36 inches, Waist 31 inches, Sindall Bros & Co Ltd. 1943. Felt USAAF insignia to left sleeve.
Wartime ARP Wardens Overalls.
A scarce original pair of ARP overalls in good sound used condition. Manufactured in blue cotton with two breast pockets and one pocket to left leg, retains its original belt and ARP buttons. Machine embroidered on bluette ARP badge to left breast. Manufactures label (F. Fryer & Co Battersea) and size 4 label to just under collar area, remains of stitching to official label ARP 41 on inside which has been washed away see photo. Condition is good but colour has faded slightly due to washing, not sure of size would fit approx 5 feet 10 inches, waist 36". Original overalls are extremley difficult to find as most were used as general working overalls after the war, this pair would make a excellent display.
The Air Crew Europe Star.
The Air Crew Europe Star - an original example of this most coveted of all the Second World War Stars. The medal is in excellent condition complete with its original ribbon. Awarded for operational flying from UK bases over Europe for a period of two months between September 1939 and June 1944.
