P.O.W Letter - RAF - 61 Sqn Lancaster 1942.
P.O.W letter from F/Sgt Robert Beard to his parents dated February 1944 from M-Stammlager VIII B P.O.W camp. Beard was on operations to Saarbrucken with 61 Sqn flying in Lancaster R5737 when it crashed near Vrizy France he was taken POW the rest of the crew were killed.
N.F.S Steel Helmet - Area 24 - Coventry.
Wartime N.F.S Mk.II steel helmet - Area 24 Coventry District. The helmet retains 95% of its original paint finish with NFS and area transfer to front, the liner dated 1939 and is in sound condition. On the inside rim of the helmet the owners name and service number has been painted. Overall a good clean helmet.
WW1 Princess Marys Christmas Fund Cigarettes.
Scarce packet of cigarettes from the 1914 Princess Marys Christmas Fund tin, the packet has been opened but still retains the 14 original cigarettes and the small photograph of Princess Mary. The cigarettes and packet are in very good condition considering there age.

Battle of Britain Pilots Attributed Cigarette Case
Silver cigarette case attributed to P/O C.A Ogilvy who flew in the Battle of Britain with 610 Squadron, he flew two sorties in October which qualified him for the B.O.B clasp. He was later posted to Cranwell as a flying instructor, 1945 he was posted to 622 Squadron on Lancaster and took part in 16 ops. Only recently has his named been added to the B.O.B London monument after much research carried out by them. (see B.O.B London Monument web site for full details). The cigarette case is hallmarked Birmingham 1935 and is clearly engraved on the inside - C.A Ogilvy - No.745745 - 24th Oct 1939. The excellent quality heavy silver case is in good condition with some light scratches which would possible clean if required.
RAF Officer\'s Service Dress Peaked Cap.
A good wartime R.A.F Officers Service Dress Cap, the cap retains good shape, no moth damage, leather band is complete and in good sound condition, good wartime economy badge, the cap has some service wear and is lightly soiled, overall a nice example and displays well.
1941 Dated - WAAF Jacket.
Wartime other ranks WAAF Jacket (Serge). The jacket is in good used condition with service wear and no damage accept for a period repair to right hand pocket which does not distract from the overall appearance. Retains rank insignia, the RAF eagles have been removed from the shoulders and would be easily replaced if required. The original label is slightly wash out but most of the label is still readable - Jacket - Serge - W.A.A.F Size No 10 - 1941. Overall a good example of these hard to find wartime jackets.
