Scarce information and application leaflet for "The Citizens Guild For Civil Defence" being an association of personnel and officials of the C.D, fire and fire guard services. Four page leaflet in good clean condition.
Battle of Britain Pilots Attributed Cigarette Case
Silver cigarette case attributed to P/O C.A Ogilvy who flew in the Battle of Britain with 610 Squadron, he flew two sorties in October which qualified him for the B.O.B clasp. He was later posted to Cranwell as a flying instructor, 1945 he was posted to 622 Squadron on Lancaster and took part in 16 ops. Only recently has his named been added to the B.O.B London monument after much research carried out by them. (see B.O.B London Monument web site for full details). The cigarette case is hallmarked Birmingham 1935 and is clearly engraved on the inside - C.A Ogilvy - No.745745 - 24th Oct 1939. The excellent quality heavy silver case is in good condition with some light scratches which would possible clean if required.
RAF Officer\'s Service Dress Peaked Cap.
A good wartime R.A.F Officers Service Dress Cap, the cap retains good shape, no moth damage, leather band is complete and in good sound condition, good wartime economy badge, the cap has some service wear and is lightly soiled, overall a nice example and displays well.
1941 Dated - WAAF Jacket.
Wartime other ranks WAAF Jacket (Serge). The jacket is in good used condition with service wear and no damage accept for a period repair to right hand pocket which does not distract from the overall appearance. Retains rank insignia, the RAF eagles have been removed from the shoulders and would be easily replaced if required. The original label is slightly wash out but most of the label is still readable - Jacket - Serge - W.A.A.F Size No 10 - 1941. Overall a good example of these hard to find wartime jackets.
\"Boots\" First Aid Case For A.R.P.
"The Householders First Aid Case for A.R.P" small private purchase first aid kit sold by Boots the Chemist. The card box is in very good clean used condition and slightly smaller than the kit that you usually see for sale measures approx 23x12x5cm with first aid instructions' on the inner cover, still contains some contents with some being original and some later replacements.
WWII R.A.F Officers Side Cap.
WWII R.A.F Officers Side Cap in good used condition with just two small areas of damage see photographs. The cap is fitted with is original two piece brass badge, approx size 7 1/2 and is 1943 dated. A good original cap with service wear.
St Pancras Borough Council Warden Helmet.
Rare St Pancras Borough Council MkII 1939 dated Wardens helmet in overall good condition with some slight damage to the S.P.B.C transfer (see photos). Original liner and strap. A scarce and desirable London district helmet.

Air Transport Auxiliary Reminders Book for pilots and flight engineers. issued by ATA Chief Technical Officer - April 1945. Hardback illustrated booklet 76 pages giving details of flying and technical techniques for the ATA pilot. In good clean sound condition.
Bournemouth Civilian Respirator Box.
Bournemouth - Poole - Christchurch Air Raid Precautions area issue civilian respirator box. The standard gas mask box with the addition of label to top giving owners details etc, issued to L.H Potter, Christchurch. Box is in very good condition. Box only no gas mask.
R.A.F \"Special Ration\" Type B Tin.
Scarce wartime Royal Air Force "Special Ration" Type B tin. Stores ref 27P/20. Small tin approx. 8cm dia in good condition showing slight wear to printing.
