Air Crew Europe / Air Efficiency medal group to 751953, Sgt E.D Carrick RAFVR. Group comprises 1939 - 1945 Star, The Air Crew Europe Star, 1939 - 1945 War Medal, 1939 - 1945 Defence Medal, Air Efficiency Award (George VI). The Air Efficiency Award is clearly named to 751953 Sgt E.D Carrick RAFVR. All medals are in very good condition with original ribbons. Air Efficiency Award was granted for 10 years efficient service in the Auxiliary and Volunteer Air Forces of the United Kingdom.
Elementary Flight Training School Cap Badge
A scarce wartime Canadian Elementary Flying Training School instructors cap badge. Embroidered maroon maple leaf, EFTS lettering to centre on blue cloth backing. In very good unissued condition. The British Commonwealth Air Training Plan was formed in December 1939 to address the need for aircrew training to meet the needs of the Commonwealth. Although not limited to Canada the great majority of schools and graduates were trained in Canada.
R.A.F 1941 Pattern Flying Boots.
R.A.F 1941 Pattern Flying Boots, brown suede boots with fleece lining these being the later version with the additional leather ankle strap to overcome the issue of the boots falling off during a parachute decent. The boots are in good used condition, no size marking but I believe approx. size 8?. zips in working order although a little stiff in use, the fleece lining is slightly worn but complete, the foot section rubber coating is good. Overall a good sound pair of used boots.

Civil Defence Training Pamphlet No.2 (3rd Edition) - Objects Dropped From The Air. Issued by the Ministry of Home Security, published by HMSO 1944. 70 pages with black & white ph0tographs and diagrams details German bombs etc. Booklet is in good sound used condition with some minor staining mainly to front cover.
Document group to Yorkshire Air Raid Warden.
Group of three documents to Castleford Air Raid Warden Fred Simpson. His County Council of The West Riding of Yorkshire - Air Raid Precautions - Air Raid Wardens, Appointment Card dated 6th June 1939. National Registration Identity Card issued 1943 showing employment in the Civil Defence Wardens Service. National Service Certificate of Registration Card. All three documents in fairly well used but sound condition.

Small wartime information booklet issued by the City of Gloucester for men and women of the U.S Armed Forces In U.K. Eight page booklet in very good condition giving details of the City where to eat and sleep, American Red Cross Club, Entertainments and places of interest etc.
