WW2 - R.A.F Double - Sided Blood Chit.
Scarce R.A.F double sided blood chit issued 1944 for Operation Frantic, the shuttle bombing of Germany by the RAF using the Soviet Union for refuelling and re-arming. In good condition retaining good colour and has been folded for use in the issue plastic ID holder.
Heavy Rescue MkII Helmet
1939 dated MK11 helmet with the letter \"HR\" (Heavy Rescue) to front and rear. The helmet is in good used condition with some loss of black paint, lettering is clear again with some damage (see photos). The liner and strap are in sound used condition. Overall a good original helmet.
Rare WW2 8mm Escape Compass.
Rare wartime 8mm escape compass, this type being one of the smallest of the range of escape compass designed by MI9. These were used in various escape items including the smokers pipe, cigarette, lighter etc. The compass is in good working order, has a small hairline crack in the glass which does not detract from this scarce escape compass.
Luftwaffe Flight Gauntlets.
Luftwaffe leather flying gauntlets, these being the longer version popular with bomber crews. They are In excellent used condition the straps and press studs are good. The leather is supply and shows signs of little use. The interior is well marked to a flight school. Overall a very good matched pair.
R.A.F - A.P 1764 Aircraft Recognition Wallet.
Air Ministry - Air Publication 1764 - Aircraft Recognition - Published August 1940 with amendment up to April 1941. Housed in a hardback wallet to allow amendments to be added. Sections included aircraft illustrations and details from Great Britain - France - Germany - Italy. In very good used condition.
