A good original maker marked WW2 German Iron Cross 1st Class. The iron cross retains most of its original black finish is uncleaned and to reverse the pin and hook are good, the pin is maker marked with no 65 which relates to maker Klein & Quenzer A.G.

Small group of documents to George Still who served as a air raid warden in 1938 for Tunbridge Wells before joining the Westminster Dragoons. Group includes - his Royal Tunbridge Wells Air Raid Warden Identity Card issued 1938, the card is in well used condition. Five letter from his employers Van Den Berghs & Jurgens Ltd with regards to his pay during wartime and on return to the company after national service.

Prisoner Of War Grouping to L/Cpl B. Woodman.

P.O.W document grouping to L/Cpl Woodman who was a prisoner from 1940 to 1945 at Stalag XXA P.O.W camp in Poland the prisoners arriving in 1940 were from the allied campaigns in Norway and from Dunkirk. The group includes 6 x POW letters to his parents in Ashby de la Zouch, his military training registration card , two photographs taken in the camp one showing camp theatre show, boxing programme June 1942 at Stalag XXA Stadium, 1943 dated letter from Leicestershire POW Comforts Fund. An interesting POW group and good research project.
