\"A Day On The Airway\" Printed \"Travel Album\" with foreword by Sir Alan Cobham, containing a complete set of 25 cigarette cards depicting a journey from Croydon Aerodrome to Amsterdam. The album is in very good used condition with just the age wear - note on the first page - This travel album is issued without charge to hold a complete set of twenty five \"a day on the airway\" pictures, as issued with all packings of Sarony Virginia Cigarettes, plain or cork tipped.
Wartime British War Relief Society Beaker.
Wartime \"British War Relief Society\" beaker sold to raise funds for the British War Relief Society, this attractive beaker was produced by Copeland Spode England with the BWRS / RAF wings to front and the BWRS crest to the rear. The beaker is of excellent quality with no damage maker marked to base and stands approx 11cm high. The BWRS was a US-based organisation dealing with the supply of non-military aid such as food, clothes, medical supplies and financial aid to people in Great Britain during the early years of the Second World War.
R.A.F Officers Service Dress Cap.
Wartime R.A.F Officers Service Dress Cap. This excellent quality cap retains good shape and colour with no moth damage, the officers cap badge and band are of good quality the leather chin strap is good and complete the inner leather band is supple and complete. Overall an excellent cap which displays well.
Wartime Police - Special Constabulary Steel Helmet
A scarce wartime Police Special Constabulary MkII steel helmet with sergeant rank insignia. The helmet retains 80% of its original blue painted finish with white stencilled \"Police\" to front with transfer indicating (SC) special constabulary and rank insignia for the rank of sergeant. The liner is dated 1939 and size 7, the helmet is maker stamped (not very clear) BMB (Briggs Motor Bodies).
