Wartime R.A.F \"Sidcot\" Flying Suit.
Royal Air Force 1940 pattern Sidcot Flying Suit Outer, Stores reference 22c/365 size 6. This is the early wartime version of the sidcot which has no wiring. The green cotton material is in very good clean condition with just some slight staining, clear A.M stamps and label (some ink staining) marked outer with size measurements and owners name. Zips are A.M marked except for the two leg zips, all are in working order although a little stiff in operation, one leg and one side zip has one tooth missing on each they still operate with care. Removable fur collar is in good condition and A.M stamped.

The 31st Fighter Group were the highest scoring fighter group in the Mediterranean Theater of Operations in WW2. Hardback book of 420 pages fully illustrated with black and white photographs in as new condition.

Wartime Royal Air Force Flying Clothing Card.
Royal Air Force Flying Clothing Issue Card to S/Ldr E.H.G Watson issued at RAF Swanton Morley December 1940. S/Ldr Watson was clearly note a flyer at this time the card shows no issue of flying clothing just issue of non flying equipment. The scarce card is in good used condition.
P.O.W Letter Sgt R Beard - 61 Squadron R.A.F.
P.O.W card from Sgt .R Beard prisoner at Stalag 8/B 344 Lamsdorf to his parents in Swansea dated December 1942. Sgt Beard was crew on Lancaster R5737 which crashed at Vrizy on operation to Saarbrucken on the 29th July 1942 the rest of the crew were all killed only Beard was taken P.O.W. Card is in good sound used condition.

Unusual trinket box made from a cross section of a wood propeller blade with small brass / enamel Royal Australian Air Force wings to lid and on the one side inscribed with small brass pins - \"Betty 1941\" . This hand made sweetheart box is of good quality and finish, measures approx 29 x 7 x 9 cm.
