Scarce wartime USAAF / RAF aircrew target / plotting photograph for Friedrichstrasse Stations Etc Berlin, Target No. 6 (d) (v) 17 photographed 19th March 1943 issued July 1943. In good used condition with some discolouration and has been folded.

World War Two German 1939 pattern Wound Badge in \"Black\" with its original issue envelope. The badge is in very good condition with just some slight rusting to its back (see photo) the pin and hook are good. The issue envelope is in sound condition is a little creased and has Stuttgart maker to reverse.

P.O.W Letter - Battle For Arnhem Interest.

Rare prisoner of war letter from Cpl J.A.Linden to his mother, Linden had been taken prisoner during the Battle for Arnhem whilst serving with the 1st Parachute Brigade, 89 Parachute Field Security Section. The letter dated 6th January 1945 with Stalag XVIII post mark (faint) is in worn but sound condition, written in pencil he comments that hopefully this will be the last year of war! and how cold it is.

A good used pair of German Wehrmacht 6x30 Binocular comes with its original neck strap and rain cover retains 80% of its original tan paint finish. Lens are fairly clear but would benefit from a clean overall condition is used with service wear (see photos).

Small approx 23 x 8 cm A.R.P Air Raid Warden enamel sign for use on doors, gate post etc. In used condition with some damage to enamel mainly around fixing holes and some general service wear to the enamel.

Scarce early war \"Identification Chart Of British Aircraft\" produced by Flight Magazine, the thick card chart measures approx 56 x 37 cm and is in good sound used condition with some age decolourisation and slight damage to edges. These charts are often seen on the walls in early RAF crew room photographs and also used by Home Guard, Civil Defence ATC etc.. Postage is high on this item because it will need to be posted flat.

Battle Of France Attributed Air Crew Europe Casual

A rare Battle of France Air Crew Europe casualty medal group to 935893 Leading Aircraftman (air gunner) Frederick Lawrence Bettany No 26 Squadron RAF killed in action 19/5/1940. The medals are mounted as worn and have all been privately named the medals are in good condition the original ribbons are a little stained and worn the backing cloth has suffered from moth damage (see photos). His aircraft Lysander II N1202 was shot down by Lt Strakel-jahn of Stab I (J) LG2 during a tactical reconnaissance sortie - See After the Battle - The Battle Of France Then and Now page 321 for more details. He is buried at Landrecis Communal Cemetery France. Bettany from Sleaford Lincolnshire was aged 19. A good early war medal group in need of further research, note on the internet there is a good photograph of him in full flying gear.
