A.R.P Memorandum No. C2 (2nd Edition) - Air Raid Precautions For Electricity Undertakings. Issued by the Home Office ARP Department 1938. 33 page card cover booklet in good condition, staples have rusted away easily replaced if required otherwise a good example of this hard to find booklet.
WW1 Lincolnshire Regiment Pair of Medals.
World War One pair of medals to 241911 Pte A. Barnard Lincolnshire Regiment complete with the named original box of issue. The medals are in excellent condition come with there original medal ribbons and issue envelopes and are clearly named. Barnard served in France was taken POW in 1918 wounded in 1917. Come with photocopy of his service record.
WWI Pair of Medals to Airship Pilot R.A.F.
World War One, War and Victory medals to Lieut E. Adlington Royal Air Force contained in there original issue boxes, retaining original medals ribbons and in excellent condition and are clearly named. Adlington was a qualified airship pilot and records show he flew SS and SSZ class airships. A scarce group and a excellent research project.
WW2 RAAF Officer Service Dress Cap
A scarce used WWII RAAF (Royal Australian Air Force) officer peaked cap in standard RAAF dark blue material. RAF officer bullion wire cap badge and correct RAAF black plastic cap buttons. Interior head band is complete and is marked size 6 3/4, dated 1944 (very faint see photo) Made in Australia. and has general service wear. The cap is in very good condition some service wear to the leather chin strap, underside of peak is green material, it retain a good shape and has overall service wear. A good example of this hard to find cap.
Wartime NFS Steel Helmet Area 16.
Wartime NFS steel helmet Area 16 (Lyndhurst SW Southampton). The MkII steel helmet is dated 1939 and maker marked HBH (Harrison Brothers & Howson the liner dated 1938 size 7 Vero. The inside of the shell is in clean condition and has the owners name and number painted on the rim - 528877 E Cutler. The chin strap is in good condition. The outside of the shell retains a fair amount of its original paint finish but has suffered from corrosion under the paint, the NFS and area transfer are original to the helmet again have some damage (see photos). Overall a original untouched helmet that still displays well.
